This radio rarely shows up on ebay (or anyplace else).

It appears to be a well-cared for set.

I wouldn't know what to do with this sellers high priced items even if I owned them????? Put radio on a carasole in the den and watch it turn?? :)

The arrogance of the Washington CL seller shown in the last link .
I find all radios ,especially battery sets ,were worth as much as 4 times the current selling prices back in 2004.

Not to say it isn't rare, but hard to see 15k there.

It is rare; I can find no evidence of another ebony 9K10 in existence.

Apparently the rest of the world agrees about the price, though. That ad was first listed in 2015 and has been continuously re-upped every few days ever since. No buyer yet.
