Anybody living in eastern Virginia looking for a tube tester?

I came across a Cardmatic tube tester in an antique store a couple years ago, which lead me to do a little research on the units.

From what I read, they're pretty difficult to get them running correctly. Fidgety things, they are. I didn't buy that one.

Thanks for the heads up. Member Donald Cochrane has been looking for one for some time now. I let him know and he has purchased the set. Anyone notice that a Western Electric tube is plugged into the WE compactron type socket?

Glad to hear it. It was a great price, I figured somebody would be interested.

Anybody that had a WE cardmatic tube tester probably had a good stash of tubes. Somebody should check with this seller about the possibility of any tubes, especially WE tubes.

Absolutely right. However, in this case, the fellow selling the Cardmatic has indicated that it was found in a box with the other test pieces at the dump!

That's a good looking cardmatic. I have two of the 121 models and have yet to restore either of them. Have no idea how well they will function.

Since the Craigslist has been deleted, what is the going rate on a 121 Cardmatic?
