I would rather see "I have no experience with radios but it looks good to me and I want more than you are will to pay. End of conversation.

Gym socks? Be thankful. I received a radio well packed with salvaged foam sheet littered with many used feminine sanitary pads. There should be a law....

Good God  I hope that's not true, because that's actually a biological hazard. A serious one at that.

But does it tune any stations? That would be the most useful information. I take "static" to mean it doesn't work.

I usually ask that as a follow up question. Static usually means repairable, but not useable.

"works perfectly, completely restored, BUT AS WITH ALL ANTIQUE ELECTRONICS, EVERY COMPONENT IN IT CAN AND WILL FAIL FROM THE MINUTE I SHIP IT UNTIL IT LANDS ON YOUR DOORSTEP, AND IT COULD ALSO BE THAT YOUR MAILMAN SAW ALL THE ANTENNAS ON YOUR HOUSE, HAS HATED HAMS SINCE HIS 6TH GRADE SCIENCE TEACHER, WHO WAS ALSO A HAM, GAVE HIM AN "F" AND DETENTION HALL FOR PASSING NOTES IN CLASS, AND WILL INTENTIONALLY SMASH YOUR RADIO, THEREBY EXACTING HIS REVENGE, THUS VOIDING MY ENTIRE DESCRIPTION OF THIS RADIO, SO NO RETURNS AND YOU MIGHT GET YOUR MONEY BACK IF YOU FILE A CASE, IN WHICH EVENT I WILL PREEMPTIVELY EMPTY MY PAYPAL BALANCE SO AN ECHECK MUST BE USED, DELAYING YOUR REFUND BY ANOTHER 14 DAYS OR MORE, AND THIS IS IN ALL CAPS, SO IF YOU READ THIS AND STILL MAKE THIS PURCHASE, EVEN EBAY WILL THINK YOU ARE AN IDIOT AND MAYBE EVEN TAKE MY SIDE IN YOUR CASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
