Jim Sargent is having an antique radio auction in Garland tx July 13, this will be the last radio auction held in Garland tx. All future auctions of Jim Sargent's will be at Jims new auction house in Granbury Tx. There will be many many items and can be viewed in a few weeks or sooner on his web site. Also there will be online bidding as well for those who cannot make it. Just thought I would let you guys know.

Curious, but did anyone on ARF go online for this auction?

I attended in person. Are you looking for a price that something sold for? Sales info is listed for each item; but, you may need to be signed in to see it. Also, I noticed that all in attendance buyers are listed as f***r and they all are listed to have paid a 10% buyer's premium. Not true - buyer's premium for those in attendance was 5%.

I was there online and won a radio. I had never been to a live online auction before. The on line presentation was very good and I learned a lot about on line auctions. I was just curious how many if any ARF members took advantage of it.

This was the first radio auction I've attended. I remember the auctioneer mentioning at the start that there were 42 states represented on line. I also thought it was a well run auction. The auction company is moving to Granbury, TX, which is closer to my home than Garland, TX.
