For all you north Jersey hams.
A Hallicrafters HT-32, SX-101 and HT-33A Linear for $300. The linear looks OK but the other are rough.
For once I used some self control and bailed on this but I have no connection with the seller.
Here is a link.

Hi Jerry,
I think Rough is an understatement.

Right by me, but my self control is looking at the pictures and telling myself, "Self, you already sold all your junk sets, you don't need to go through that again".

Sounds to me like you're wavering a bit. LOL.

Looks to me like some of that stuff got wet and stayed wet for awhile. As in, parts bonanza. So you are paying 300 for the amp, and getting parts junk for free, is a way to look at it. IF you think that amp untested unknown is worth 3. I guess with CL you can at least look under the hood if you live nearby.

Wow! What a shame... must have been in a very damp cellar or shed. I have the SX-101A paired with a HT-32. They must have been the cat's meow back in their day. That amplifier usually goes for good bucks--I have the same model that used 4CX300 tubes in AB1! 5 watts would do 600 out, if you clipped out the grid loading resistor.
