This is from the Milsurplus reflector and I obtained Tim's permission to post this to ARF.

"My name is Tim and i work for a Reclamation District in West Sacramento CA, we recently acquired a new shop building and find ourselves burried in the previous owners communication equipment and military surplus. This is something I know nothing about but want to see that if appropriate the stuff finds a home. I am hoping to get some leads or direction on where to go from here. The equipment ranges from numerous switchboards, to phones and components of many types and eras although appears to be mostly Korean War era. There are cases of vaccum tubes, tons of manuals for the equipment, testing equipment and military PA systems, as well as truck speakers and specialty bulbs for equipment, aircraft etc. There is even a submarine sonar station. Any help would be greatly appreciated."

That all the info I have....

I'd suggest posting photos, as many and as close up as possible.

As we all know any real collection has to have a sonar station in it  .

What is the higher priority for you, making a profit or clearing out the building?

Questions of pics and priority will have to be directed to Tim by above e-mail address.

I suggest Tim become a member here so that we can publicly exchange ideas with him.

I dunno. Contact one of the known surplus dealers. Surplus Sales of Nebraska, or Fair Radio Sales, but they are quite a distance away from the west coast. I suppose if the price was right they would truck it all east if it was stuff that they could sell. I would not expect must of a wholesale price on the stuff as it sounds like an inventory that might set around for a long long time, for much of it.

Do like the storage-wars people, find a local movie-prop-service and deal with them for their next submarine or space movie.
