Well it does look new, and the box and tube are both Sylvania. There's a serial number on the tube, there should be a corresponding tag on the box but there's no picture of it.
I bought a NOS Sylvania once off eBay, it was NOS, but it was also defective, it had a short in the base where one of the wires had bent over during installation. I was able to fix it, but what a nerve wracking pain in the patutti.

The date code on the box is 516 (1955). The date code on the tube appears to be 913 (1949). The getter has been got. It is used.

I agree with Norman, with the getter looking like that, I wouldn't touch it with an 11 foot pole.

I like how it will be shipped in the original box, if you want it double boxed you have to contact the seller.

OH yeah I would for sure say it's a used Tube Awhile back I had started a thread about some 7JP4's and Testing them in Real life viewtopic.php?f=3&t=340019viewtopic.php?f=3&t=361115one of the 5 7JP4's I ended up with had that Same Faded Getter and it barely gave any sort of emissions, so I ended up tossing it and another one that had a decent Getter but broken Gun supports I am sure the Seller has no idea it has high Hours

Ended at $117. The winner is very optimistic I guess.
