Looks like some funny business with the bids.

Nice looking set and a not often seen model.

I like the fact the finish has been kept original.

looks like 9***n was nibbling away to find out what 9***3's bid was. then 3***3 got into the action...

This must be a hobby for some people? I don't know...

Each buyer's ID either has a 9 and/or a 3 in it.

If you meant shill bidders personally I don't think that's the case here.
Just my $0.02

The automatic bid sniping software is going up in the smallest possible amounts; usually this is done in the last few seconds of the auction. But at least it's working!

It's definitely an uncommon model, but I don't know how it's getting that much interest. It's amazing how so many nice plain tombstones get shunned, yet with Zenith on the bezel this one doesn't.

hello Lenny,
I have that radio in my collection mine is waiting for me to finish restoring .
guys you are forgetting there were only like a 1000 of this model made I seen most of them go for about grand .

My radio the cabinet is in need of some real repairs but my chassis is in really good shape but I only paid $35.00 for the radio .
Sincerely rich

Bruce sells on eBay all the time and has numerous items up at the same time. Are his other items showing the same bidding? If so, then it may be shilling, but I doubt it.

It looked more like a nibbler to me.

trying to find out what the high bid is. People are weird.

Nibblers are almost as effective as shills (and more annoying) when it comes to upping the final selling price.
