A little while ago, I tried to list a 1988 Crosley AM/FM replica of a Zenith radio and the result was Facebook blocked the ad, because it may go against their rules. Then, I remembered that someone mentioned somewhere that Facebook does not like the word "Zenith." I indeed mentioned that the radio was a replica of a 1930's Zenith radio; so, I created a new ad, without mentioning Zenith, and it went through.

Facebook used to be a laid back site that I enjoyed; but, today, I usually end up cussing every time I get on it and when they pull their crap. A few months ago, they removed a meme I posted from back in 2017, and then suspended my ability to sell or go live for 30 days. However, all of the scam profiles and spam bots are running rampant on there and that does not seem to bother Facebook. At present, FB is my only outlet for selling anything (since I'm not selling online anymore) and there are some people on there who I communicate with. If it wasn't for those things, I'd tell FB to kiss my you-know-what.

So, just a head's up....if you list a Zenith product for sale there, you might want to misspell the "Z-word" because using the "Z-word" on Facebook is like using one of the "Carlin words" on here.

I'm out of the loop here since I don't bother with social media but out of curiousity, why would the name/ word zenith be a red flag?

I see plenty of Zeniths in my feed but I'll say their marketplace system is an inconsistent mess in many ways.

Me too. Are you sure it wasn't the R word, as in replica?

Don't even get me started. FB thinks they know what you want better than you do. I'm not happy they're taking business from Craigslist. At least CL just shows you everything you searched for and doesn't use a stupid AI to decide what you should see.

I don't know why FB keeps showing things you didn't search for either. See that Hallicrafters S-40 bottom center? That's something I'm trying to sell. I didn't say anything about Zenith in that ad.

Does the FB search engine also look for images that resemble antique radios?
I am sure in the past I have had appliances and other junk that sort of resembled a radio show up in the search results.

Been nagged to get on FB for years by relatives. Seen people I used to know half way across the country on FB. Still not gonna hook up with that quagmire of social media.
