Why hasn’t this radio been tested to see if it works?

Because it didn't come with a remote, the seller can't find a button to turn it on.

Because the ultra rare 9V battery is missing from the box. You can clearly see the empty cut out in the pictures.

Couldn't find the receptacle to plug in the Apple power adaptor cord.

She would have to spend a couple of bucks just to be disappointed.

Maybe it was tested and failed and then suddenly became untested.

It would work much better if the black wire going to the battery snap connector wasn't broken. (which means it was actually tested but didn't work)

Wear on the bezel, so hardly good condition, just because it has the box.

Another case of a used common radio with decimalpointitis, which needs to be moved leftward one digit.

Why do you need to know if it works?
An eight year old kid could fix that little set if required… maybe you don't how to. lol

anyhow… a blind man could see that the circuit board and all of the component are original and unmolested.
If it's really buggin' you that much, why don't you ask the seller.

Buyers have brought this on themselves, screaming "It don't work" and demanding a refund. The path of least resistance now is to start with, "Maybe it will, maybe it won't". :D

That's usually the case with these '60's Japanese made sets (or really most any other manufacturer).

WE don't really need a print in order to change out the usual four E-Caps, nor would it do any good for a non-electronics person.

It's hard to think outside of the <unopened> box?
