I'm not a serious audio guy but have always liked the look and design
of silver face Pioneer equipment and have acquired quite a bit over the
years. While I have heard of the 'Spec' amps and preamps, never thought
I'd find one. That changed this weekend when I found a Spec-1 preamp
and the matching Spec-4 power amp. Filthy, cruddy but relatively cheap.
Both cleaned up nicely and appear almost as new!

All four 22,000 uF at 80v caps in the power amp have puked their guts
sometime in the past. Does anyone know of a source for caps like this
that will fit in the cabinet? The output transistors of one channel are
bad too but that should be easy/ TIA
Steve
