Is anyone familiar with the Mach 7 speakers or any others in the Wharfedale Mach series? There is a pair for sale locally for $60. It's a 3-way speaker with a horn loaded tweeter dating to the early 80's, according to what little info I can find on it. I was wondering about the sound quality. I listen primarily to jazz, as you might guess, with a lot of horns (sax, trumpet, and bones) with emphasis on the late 50's to mid-60's. The horns sound best with a smooth full midrange and treble that is not too bright or harsh, so I was wondering if these Wharfedale speakers might fit the bill.

You might try some of the vintage audio forums for reviews/opinions of that model.
