Surplus from the stock of the late Jim Schwalbe. Years ago he had taken on the project of reproducing the remote control keyboards for EH Scott remote control receivers (option for Philharmonic, Phantom, Sixteen, and 800B). About three years ago, shortly prior to his passing, he gave me the stock of completed parts along with a list of those individuals who pre-ordered keyboards. I have contacted all on the list and provided kits to those individuals who responded. What I am offering today is the remainder of the kits. Included are the molded plastic housing, molded plastic pushbuttons (2-part, shown assembled but not glued), a correct size green pilot light jewel (nut required), a pre-drilled but not countersunk (required for flat head screw) steel baseplate, and a NOS 21-pin Jones plug. Not included are the switchboard and 20-wire cable (original was cloth covered 2-layer ribbon). These will require work to complete including polishing, making a switchboard, finding and wiring a 20-conductor cable. Technical data for the 800B version is available in Riders and Sams Photofact. The pre-war version differed in that it had a single common return rather than two returns employed in the 800B (one for AM stations and the other for FM stations). Although any reproduction keyboard is likely to be far different, images of the original keyboards can be found at the link below.
http://ehscott.ning.com/photo/albums/sc ... -keyboardsJim had invested over $200 each on these kits and was planning to sell them for $400 to $500 each upon completion. Being incomplete I am offering basically at Jim's cost.
Brown (three available, shown on left side of first photo), $150.00 each postpaid
Dark brown or Black (one each available, shown on right side of first photo), $175 postpaid for the dark brown one, $200 postpaid for the black one.
Please post here as required identifying which color and PM with full name and mailing address if interested. I will reply with payment instructions.

Close up of detail from a camera that ignores black when trying to focus! The original Scott keyboards used gold fill for the "Scott" logo. I used a gold lacquer stick to fill the logo on this example. This particular keyboard is not for sale and has only been included to show detail with the gold fill.
