Thordarson really cranked out the catalogs and manuals for their line of transformers and project plans in the late 30s and early 40s. I have been spending some time studying these (like I need more hobbies!). There are a few things that I would still like to find to fill in some gaps.

1) Amplifier Manual 346C
2) Any amplifier manuals after 346D
3) Any specification/instruction sheets for Trufidelity transformers
4) Amplifier catalogs 600A or 600B
5) Any late 1940s amplifier catalogs (600G and later)
6) Any Amplifier service manuals ( I have the one that corresponds to catalog 600-D, it has individual manuals for each amp listed in the catalog all in one binder)
7) Construction / instruction manuals for the following amplifiers: T10W11, T10K10, T30W10, T31W10, T31W10AX (the original Thordarson manuals rather than photofacts).

Have you got any of these laying in your files?

I looked and only have 346D and a transmitter manual. Good luck with your search.

I have come to believe that catalogs 600A and 600B do not exist. It sort of looks like they started with 600C when the 400C transformer catalog came out.... Let me know if you find something in the pile of catalogs! Sure could use the trufidelity transformer spec sheets too!

Many transformer catalogs can be found at bunkerofdoom.com and downloaded free.

I've built quite a reference library for the cost of running a printer.

Thanks for letting me know. Those are numbers I can't use. Regards, Eric L.

I wonder if 346C exists... I have a copy of 346B (1937) and two copies of 346D - one dated 1938, the other 1941. Contents identical except for the ad on the back cover.

Yeah Tom,

I wonder that as well. I have only seen it in the illustration that shows it's cover in, if i remember correctly, the 400-C transformer catalog (would have to go back). No way to know if that was just an artists rendering and they kept sending out copies of 346-B until 346-D was published. There are, I think, four different printings of 346-D I think. It seems like the suffix on the 346 manuals and 600 catalogs corresponded to the letter on the associated transformer catalogs.

By now you would think we would have seen one.

Also very uncertain as to whether or not they made combined amplifier service manuals other than the one corresponding to catalog 600-D. Imagine my disappointment when I realized it did not contain any info on the trufidelity 10 watt amplifier. Only after getting it did I realize there were two versions of the 600-D. One, presumably earlier that had the trufidelity and one without.

Still will continue the search!

Eric
