I'm looking for a Dual 1005 turntable in complete condition. Will consider others from the late 50's. Also looking for a T20/22 plastic needle cartridge for a Telefunken TE 504/506...and copies of English service documents for either of these turntables.

Yes, I know the 506 Photofact is sometimes available on Ebay but the seller won't ship to Canada no matter how much I beg. Now, if someone would be kind enough to allow me to buy it and have it shipped to them in the USA and then allow me to pay to have it shipped to me in Canada I would really appreciate it. That would also give you the opportunity to make a photocopy for yourself!

Thanks

Is the Sams for model TW504? And there's none listed for the Dual, but the 1004 has one and 1006 has two.

I can likely find duplicate copies at the AWA museum on Tuesday. Make a donation to the AWA and they'll be in the mail to you.

I’d like to lend a hand, but I have a lot of trouble walking around much. If you want to buy it and have it shipped to me, I could scan it and email it to you.

Peace,
DrRick

No 1005 but I do have a Dual 1019 complete with plinth base, cover, and a Shure M91ED cart. However I won't ship. If you or someone you know are coming to Kutztown in September it could be picked up there.

A Dual 1005 was listed for sale a few hours ago today.

Good luck -

If you still want to buy the one in Canada, I'd be happy to help and have it shipped to me, then on to you. I am in the northeast so (depending on what part of Canada it's in) hopefully it won't be too much. I won't touch the box; I'll just re-label and bring it down to the post office.
Call me if interested; 401-396-7450

Diverted…that is a very kind offer and I appreciate it. So much stuff ships free in the continental US or the owner won’t ship to Canada so your offer is really welcome. Sorry it took so long to reply…I just moved on to other projects but need to come back to this one. Really nice to see radio enthusiasts helping one another. I’m happy to return the favour if you can think of a need a guy in western Canada can offer…goes for anyone reading this.
