Does anyone still make square hook up wire, similar to the wire in early 20's radios?

Hi Dan, I have gotten quite a bit from Antique Electronic Supply and only wish they had a few more sizes. You do to have to stretch and straighten it before it is workable though.

You can make your own square buss wire from round wire with one of these draw plates: https://www.amazon.com/Special-Shape-Dr ... 4VJ0GVNYBD
You mount the draw plate in a vise and flatten the round wire so it fits in square hole. Put some grease or Vaseline on the wire and pull it with a vise grip pliers. After drawing several times the wire gets longer and work hardened so it needs to be annealed with a propane torch by heating to red heat and allowing it to cool. Continue drawing the wire smaller and annealing it until the wire is the size you like!
You can tin the wire with your soldering iron or use electroless tin solution made for printed circuit boards.
