 Post subject: Intermittent Loctal Socket

I really do not want to replace this socket as it is buried in the radio. I have used the welders files to clean the socket pins and filed the tube pins.
Looking for a trick that someone has used in the past. I really don't want to solder the tube in the socket.

I've poured Naptha (Ronson Lighter Fluid) down tube sockets to clean them, and found it works quite well.
