Folks,

I have a truetone d-2210 with a 4" Permanent magnet dynamic speaker. The speaker is blown. Any idea what I can replace it with and where to get it ? What impedance it was ?
I have the schematics but there is no detail about the speaker except "4inch" and "Permanent Magnet"

Thx
Pascal

Here is a very good speaker. There is also one with a small magnet.

Most radios in the 40s or even 50s had speakers in the 4 ohm range.

A couple watts is all it really needs to handle.

An 8 ohm will work, with maybe slightly lesser volume, but you may not even notice.
