It didn't work because it's a link to a Photobucket page and not a link to just the photo. If you look at the page, on the right hand side are "Links to share this photo." Click on the last one (IMG) and paste that in your post:

Sometime back, I posted a couple pics on a thread I started. I somehow added the pics twice and could not remove them no matter what I did! Is there anyway to delete photos that you already uploaded??
Thanks,
Dave

Click on the "edit" icon in the post. At the bottom of the edit page is an option to delete attachments.

I tried to post a few pictures of my radio, but got a message saying I looked like a spammer since I'm a new member. So, I'm curious about how long I have to be a member (or how many posts I have to make) until I can post pictures.
Thanks

24 hours after your first post. Until then links aren't allowed.

But I think you can use the Attachment feature immediately since it does not link to other sites. I could be wrong.

Dave, why don't you make a new member account temporarily, and see if it will allow an attachment within it's first 24 hours? That way we'll know if we can advise new members to do that.

How does one resize the Kb size of an image? I can resize an image to meet requirements but that Kb restriction (whatever it is) won't allow me to even post 4 pixels arranged in a square.

It has been my experience that, if the image is in the standard JPG file format, it will automatically be less than 256 kb when resized to 800 x 800 pixels or less. Dave

I would have thought that to be the case, but apparently, it is not.

How do post pics that are too big? Do I have to link them to a website with them on it?

The easiest way is to open the picture in Windows Paint Shop, and resize it down to no more than 800 pixels per side.
My digital camera normally provides a 1600 x 1200 size scan, so I simply re-size it 50%, resulting in an 800 x 600 scan, which meets the forum S/W's requirement.

I was unable to post an imgur album with my first post. Hopefully this post unlocks that feature : )

I added a response to the thread, and tried to add the single pic I missed in the original and it won't let me post at all. Is it because the first ones are too large?
