Pass at 1900z Signal began east of Jacksonville Fla heading was NNE passing overhead. I heard some of the second transmission to New England but it faded as it quickly left my horizon

For me, last night was another one of those where I had to make sure my antenna didn't fall over. I heard nothing on any ham band or the few SW bands that are in the range of my dial. This was somewhere in the vicinity of 11pm-1am ( not sure ) when I woke up and decided to tune for a while on my bedside radio. I run into this just a couple of nights every year. My radio doesn't have BCB so I didn't try that but I'm sure they were just fine. I should have have fired up a BCB radio to see if it was only local stations coming in.

Between 8:15 and 8:30pm CST, Wolverine Radio was blasting in compared to usual. Solid S9 with my backround noise being around S2. I wish I would have tuned in earlier as it was a pleasure to hear it without having to fight all the static.

Wolverine started out here at S9+ as usual, but about 10 mins into the show the signal went down to just above noise here.
That has happened before . I believe there was a geomag storm. The theme was "run
Thanks for the report!

This evening from 8:30-9:00pm CST on 6987 USB. Military chatter. A group of stations and a net operator were giving radio checks and testing reception for some kind of digital transmission using modes 150, 300, 600 long whatever that means. At 9pm they switched to channel M196. No idea where that is.

Edit: I guess this is what I was listening to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFQO4HvozzM

With the return of late fall, I am now hearing the BBC on 198 KHZ and almost hearing
Ireland or Algeria on 252 kHZ, I do see the sidebands on my SDR.
