While looking at this picture, the chassis suddenly inverted. First the kid was working on the outside of the front panel, then he was working on the inside.

I could see it - and my only adult beverage is coffee.

I do think some of us are more susceptible to the phenomenon.

Come to think of it, it must be a sign of superior intelligence. :D

When i first looked at the pic, based on what YOU said, that he was working on the outside, as I actually started to focus,it does appear to invert and turns out he is working on the inside front. No beverages at all! Just a bowl of Cheerios.

That’s because he was first working on the outside. Then he had plastic surgery to change his face, put on a different shirt, and started working on the opposite side. Here is his “before” picture:

Based on the way he is holding the pliers, I think he's working on the inside, but when I first viewed it he was working on the outside.

Well what happens if you buy their kit and accidentally build it with the parts on the outside?

I'm surprised that you didn't catch the bigger problem which is that the boys seem to be missing the lower parts of their bodies.

For me a good day is when I can outsmart my cat.

I don't often outsmart my cat, but when I do...

That's not an optical illusion, it just looks like one.

I can make it change by looking at for a few seconds and then closing my eyes. When I re-open them I see one version then the other.

best regards,
Sandy

I can equally see her spinning both ways. when I glance at her, it changes. even though it says it has nothing to do with hemisphere dominance, I tend to disagree.

when I took a higher level psych class at Pitt, we studied the right brain and left brain dominance subject.

many of us went thru extensive analytical questions/situations and problem solving questions all the way down to simple questions like:

1. do you remember the tune or the lyrics better in a familiar song ?

2. what do you see first ? the vase or two people face to face, or both at the same time ?

everyone came out totally dominant for one hemisphere.

I was special  .

they did more study on me. I came in nearly equal in hemisphere dominance of 51 to 49 right brain both psychologically and with motor skills on every test that I took.

I was told I was a rare breed, which I've also been told "goes without saying...".

Despite a serious cataract in his right eye, the European cousin seems to have successfully completed his radio:
