Mike, I am really going to try and make it to the May meet, assuming that my knee issues are solved by then.

The elbow is fixed, and the knee is fixed. I'm working my way through physical therapy, and plan to go to the May meet, assuming that it goes on as scheduled.

Hello,
I dont live all that far from Kutztown and since I'm just getting started in old Radios, I'd love to know more about this Flea Market. Any info is appreciated.

Thanks

The Kutztown, PA show has been happening twice a year at the Renningers Farmer's/Antique Market since the late 1990s. It is truly a "happening" not to be missed...

Since the show begins for exhibitors on Thursday, showing up at 11 AM on Saturday and expecting to score large is unreasonable. As with most swap meets and flea markets, "the early birds find the worms."

This swap meet is unique in that many disciplines of our hobby are represented. There are radios, parts, records, jukeboxes, audio, studio and broadcasting goodies to be found here. The crowd comes from all across the USA. In previous years, we have even had Canadian and European attendees. Don't miss these Happenings !

Only vendors with a flea market space are allowed in on Thursday starting at Noon. Gates are closed before Noon.

You never know with Saturday. A vendor not able to arrive Friday may roll in Saturday with bargains to be had :D
I've seen it happen. Also someone who had high prices on items on Friday may drop them to whatever sells Saturday so they don't have to take the stuff home.

DVHRC does have incentives to entice vendors to stay Saturday so it doesn't disperse so early.

Please excuse my ignorance regarding this radio meet.

Are there individuals who can be retained/hired to look for and purchase items on behalf of those of us who cannot attend? If this topic has been discussed previously (or to death), I apologize.

Simply post a WTB "ad" in the Radio Classifieds, here within the ARForum. Many attendees check these ads...as well as the rest of the lurkers here in radioland...
