The Antique Wireless Association is now hosting a series of live monthly presentations on Zoom called AWA Shares.

Last month's presentation was Ed Gable's "The Development of Single Sideband", which was attended by about 100 and then went on to be viewed 1500 times on the AWA YouTube Channel. In case you missed Ed's excellent presentation you can see it here: https://youtu.be/BBRntPJTr5Y

This month Chris Hausler will be presenting "The History of the Telegraph - Part 1" on September 15th at 8:00 PM EST (0:00 UTC).
Chris earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Central Michigan University in 1971. He worked as a computer control systems programmer, engineer and manager in the railroad industry from 1973-2010. Now that he's retired, you'll often find Chris in the telegraph office at the AWA Museum.

You will need to pre-register to attend the this month's AWA Shares presentations by following this link:

Telegraph was the original killer app for electricity, and set the stage for a communications revolution. In this AWA Shares presentation Antique Wireless Museum Telegraph Historian Chris Hausler explores the early history of telegraph, both the technology it used and the cultural changes it brought about.
