the Michigan Antique Radio Club has made a partnership deal with the Kalamazoo Hamfest Sunday , Oct 16, 2022 8am-2pm at the Kalamazoo Expo Center ! General Admission is $7. This is a return for Vintage Electronics Expo to the great Kalamazoo Expo Center where our summer show was for 2015-2020. 20,000 sq. ft of space !

MARC is hoping to have our usual "Bargain Auction" near the end of the show as well as some "Silent Auctions" throughout the event as well. Watch http://www.thevee.org for updates later.

This event is being run by the Kalamazoo Hamfest , they are handling the seller tables sales which are expected to sell out.
The seller tables are SUPER CHEAP... just $12 ea or $22 if you want an electric drop from overhead (you only need pay for one table with electric, then your other tables are just $12 ea ). To book tables, see their site at Kalamazoohamfest.com

There will be help on hand to load-in if needed. You can camp on site with permit from http://www.kalcounty.com/parks/activities.htm NO outside trunk sales! All sales indoors, nice flat floors, clean bathrooms, great lighting, food concessions, AC power.... good tables, everything you need with easy load in doors. Load-in is SAT 3pm-6pm and Sunday 6am-8am. All vendors must be out by 5pm Sunday.

Got my verification of my table reservation today. According to the person I talked to who is in charge of the tables it is almost a sellout of just over 160 tables. Should be a good turnout.

Confirming 160 tables have sold , they are trying to add more in adjacent room, so may still be able to get a seller table if you check now. Hope to see many of the ARF'rs there ! Bring your parts lists !

I thought it was a pretty good turnout. I managed to come home with less than I took and didn't buy one radio, although I was tempted. I was also able to eat face to a name from the forum, oldradiofox. It was a pleasure to meet you Dan.

Thanks for clearing that up, Jim-I hate autocorrect, too. Some of the ham vendors were selling a lot-I didn't see the radio collectors sell much, though. I only bought some parts and a Midwest chassis at the show, but forum member 'tube radio repairman' and I went to a member's place nearby and bought quite a few things. The place was busy when I got there at 7am, and was kinda packed at around 10-10:30. It was quiet by 11:30, and the small donation auction was moved up an hour. The ham operators are a really nice bunch of guys. It was a good time.

YES, big kudos to Alex, the President of the Kalamazoo Ham Club and Paul, who was in charge of the vendors tables. Both were VERY nice to work with and they even had some volunteers to help me load out !
