Hay y’all, it’s time to get ready for the annual HVRA convention! We are celebrating the club’s 45th anniversary at this year’s convention and this should be a great event! The convention will be held on March 10 and 11, with a swap meet on Sunday morning, March 12. Time is getting short andthe Convention is only a few weeks away. So don’t delay, register today. Attached is a registration form with mailing instructions and the convention agenda with the schedule of events.
This will be a great opportunity to clear off your shelves of those un- wanted items and acquire new treasures.
We will have hours of auctions, vintage equipment contests, presentations, banquet dinner and lots of fellowship. Duane Bradley, former station manager of KPFT Pacifica Houston, has will be our guest speaker at the Saturday awards banquet. Featured manufacturer this year is RCA, so be sure to pull out your nicest RCA radios, transistors, TVs, and enter them in the contest. Jeff Heller will give technical presentation related to RCA Friday morning.
