The music world has lost another great; Johnny Maddox passed away November 27, aged 91.

He was a noted ragtime pianist, and recorded for Dot records for many years. His hits included "San Antonio Rose" and "Crazy Otto Medley". Johnny retired in 1992, but was coaxed out of retirement in 1996, and continued to perform until 2012.

I remember finding a "Crazy Otto" album when I was a kid. I didn't care for the music, but the cover was so cool.

That Decca album is the original Crazy Otto, Fritz Schulz-Reichel.

I think that record came out in '55. Never really did that much for me though.
