Brain shredding fuzz, mind bending wammy, echo delay, thundering percussion, more cowbell.

What's not to love?

Anybody ever find the 7-minute cold-ending version
of Hotel California that doesn't fade out at 6:08?

Nothing is not to love in the song! Lots of neat sound effects.

I've always liked the long version of songs and it seems like Rare Earth did their share, like this 21.5 minute version of Get Ready:

Another song I always liked was Time Has Come Today by The Chambers Brothers, but I was always listening to the puny 3+ minute version. Then one night I was going up to Ohio and tuned into a Hamilton Classic Rock station and heard the long version.... enjoy:

Time has Come Today - the ultimate cowbell song.
Did I see the Chambers Bros do the short version on the Ed Sullivan show?

I have that Rare Earth Lp...great version. Interesting mentioning "Time Has Come Today," in that I have heard three different edits...the regular radio edit, and two others each one longer. I can't remember where I heard the other versions, but I have the longest one recorded.

Very cool!

"Time" always seemed to come on after midnight on weekends, right when it was most needed.

And that clock really didn't have six hands,, either. :D

I believe so.

Ed must have been puzzled.
