The song is apart of a documentary that I happed to come across on YouTube which explains the Mandelbrot Set. Around 13:15 in the documentary, there is this awesome song that is played. I tried to find the artist on the net but to no avail! According to the creators of the documentary, the song is unreleased by Pink Floyd. I am curious if anyone can identify this song.

SHAZAM gives me 4 different results, the last one kind of sounds like it, only with guitars instead of synths. Probably out of luck on this one. :(

Way back, before Pink Floyd achieved superstardom, they did a lot of soundtracks for various films. Many of which were never released on any of their albums. You may want to listen to some of their earliest albums (pre-DarkSideOfTheMoon), and you may find something very similar.

Keyboards sound like Yes.

Have you ever checked out "Tales from Topographic Oceans"?

Highly unlikely that is Pink Floyd, IMHO. It sounds more like Genesis or Gentle Giant.
