I am sorry to write here, that the great Christine McVie passed after short illness with only 79! Fleetwood Mac was one of the well known groups in the 60s/70s. https://www.tagesschau.de/kultur/christ ... d-103.htmlR.I.P.

Wikipedia says she sant with Spenser Davis early on.
Don't forget Chicken Shack, her band before she joined Fleetwood Mac.
She married John McVie before she joined the band.

I saw Fleetwood Mac in concert a couple of times and when she sang "Over my Head" it was magical.
RIP kind gentle spirit, you will be missed.

I was very surprised to read that she was 79. She sure didn't look that old and she sang like an angel. But then .... I was also surprised to see how old one of my other favourite performers (Chris Rea) is. It really reminds me to try to do my best to enjoy every day.
