Can anybody tell me the make and model of the set and what CRT it would have. Its missing the back and owner doesn't know.

It looks to be a G.E. I have one at home, but mine has a clock on the top, where the handle is.

Thanks, owner said it looks like a GE. It would have a rectangular CRT wouldn't it? The only GE I have now is the 608 with a round CRT.

This TV is about 10 years newer than your 806. 1958 vs. 1948.

Thanks for the help everyone. I thought the seller was going to relist this as local pick up only but he hasn't. I don't really need it so I guess its not comming to my house.
