Seller on FB says they have a Cromwell 12" TV. I can find no reference to Cromwell and my search via pictures has been so far fruitless.

Thanks. Although I'm still coming up blank under the name cromwell, I have found that the Olympic DX214 looks very similar (same knobs and switch layout).

Cromwell was a private store brand associated with some retailer of the day. You see a few radios with that name on them, TV's are less common. That doesn't make it rare or valuable though.

I found the below linked website that indicates the Cromwell was made by Collier & Beale Ltd (in NZ) which had many partner ships including Admiral in the US. Did Olympic us Admiral?

Admiral and Olympic each engineered their own different chassis back then and had no association I'm aware of.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but it so happens that I'm the one that wound up buying this TV. I've done some research and begun restoration.
This Cromwell set seems to a store-brand based of the Tele-King T712. In case anyone else is in need of that information.

Pic attached. Should work nicely when finished.
