Just picked up a Graymark 512 kit radio at a ham swap meet for $1. After cleaning up the battery terminals and installing a fresh set of batteries, it powered up and works. It does need some help tho.

Is there a source for the assembly manual anywhere?

I built one of these back in 1971 or '72...

John

Hi John,

I also have one of these radios, and was generally unsuccessful finding a schematics.
I have seen one on e-bay for some ridiculous price that I passed up. They had a grainy picture of the page that I saved.
I traced out the schematics, as it is quite a simple radio. I am enclosing the files.
My radio needed the smaller electrolytic caps, the bigger supply filter caps were OK, checked them with an ESR meter.

Peter

PS. Send a PM with your e-mail address, I will send the pdf file with the schematics and PCB.
For some reason I can not attach a pdf file, it did work before.

$10 for full document package for AM/FM transistor radio. Parts are available !!

I have several of the "clip-on" belt style radios that are earphone only. Some loose parts. All were from abandoned vocational school training projects.

Received your PM Peter. Thank you.

Chas,
Thanks for the info.
I think I have enough from Peter to get the radio up to snuff.

Hi:

I purchased an unbuilt Graymark 512 on EBay. I then realized that the kit does not contain a manual.

I'm wondering if anyone has been able to locate a Graymark 512 manual that could be sent to me. I would pay them for the cost of copying and shipping.

Thanks.
