I have a Grundig S350DL that has makes scratchy loud noise when tuning on FM.It is a digital tuning readout display that plays fine on AM FM And Shortwave .No noise when tuning on AM ,only FM. Would it have a tuning cap for each band? If so they would be enclosed in plastic. How could they be cleaned,or repaired ? Also can’t find a schematic for this ,does anyone know if they available? Thanks for your help.

These plastic encapsulated tuning capacitors can not be cleaned or serviced by normal human beings...
but... Matthew arf member 7jp4-guy went the whole nine-yards, and dismantled one!

i had one of those. i bought it on clearance sale somewhere for something like 60 bucks.

it looked great, felt great, and i was very happy to have it...until i turned it on.

the shortwave was about as sensitive as a doorknob. i was lucky to get cuba and canada AT NIGHT.

the FM had bleed over and intermodulation from the three local blowtorches and the tuning in mine was so scratchy within 6 months that it would not function after about a year.

i can say that the medium wave (bcb) was decent and the radio sounded good, but other than that, it was pure junk as it ended up in the trash after about a year.

i was very disappointed.

that radio certainly was NOT the "grundig" company that i knew from the 80s and 90s when they made their "satellite" series portable radios.
