I am in search of a Panasonic AM radio. The model is R1326. The case I want is black. It was the first radio I ever owned as a a child. I believe it was made in 1965. I am in search of a Sams Photofact for this radio. The Sams website said that it is in in the TSM-69 transistor radio book.
I found a photo of the front cover of the TSM-69 and it had a Panasonic P-132 radio on the front cover. My question is, does the P-1326 and the P-132 use the same schematic and board layout ? I have found pictures of both radios on line. The radios are similar but the radio tuner knobs are different and the tuner window markings are similar but different. Any help in clarifying this question will be appreciated. Thanks.

The schematic (three pages) covers "both"... R-132 & R-1326
I don't have TSM-69 or a factory schematic.
Greg.

oh... I've never heard of a prefix P

Edit: a factory manual can be found on eBay
worth more than the radio. lol

Thank you for your response. So it sounds like the Sams TSM-69 will work for troubleshooting.
I saw the Panasonic service manual on ebay and didn’t want to spend over $20.00 for the manual.
The Sams can be found on ebay for about $10.00 including shipping. I hope I can find the P-1326 radio in excellent and if it’s not working I know that there is a Sams available for troubleshooting if needed. I didn’t think it was a radio of great value but it’s for sentimental reasons that I want one.
Thanks again.
