A small part of my heavy metal collection, The 1930s vintage National NC-100X is one of my favorite receivers. Very sensitive and nice audio from a pair of push-pull 6F6s. The red NC emblem covers a hole in the front panel made by a previous owner.

Hiding in the back against the wall is a more modern Grundig Satellit 3400. The Akai tape deck is on top of another heavyweight barely seen in the photo, a National RBL-5 vlf receiver.

Les

Here's my collection not much in the way of modern gear mainly old WWII military hunks.

Most of that could be out if a Fair Radio catalog. But even at around girty, that Drake looks too young.

Yeah the Drake snuck in one day tried to get rid of it, but it just kept hanging around  I use it with the TCS rigs on AM.

Holy cow, two CE-200Vs and a KWM-1, nice stack of TE too, including the little 4 slot TEK group. Great pics Eric. Looks like its time for a little expansionism in the form of a second "TE" table.

Looks like the TV could use a little work, cause the picture's pretty dim.

One 200V and one 100V, along with two R-390A's and an R-391 in the rack. I do need to find a power supply for the KWM-1 though. And with all these boat anchors, the test equipment is mandatory! I like to do all the work on them myself.
There's also a 75A-4 under it's cover next to the R-392. I need to find another rack to put all the test equipment in.

I too refurbish and maintain my gear, and test equipment is another one of those rabbit holes. I finally built a work bench for refurb and testing.

Here soon all the test equipment will be moved out to the garage and put on a dedicated bench. I like fixing my own stuff as it gives me a better understanding on how it all works. I still have a pile of test equipment in the garage that needs fixing as well.
