Joe, HT-6 coils are wound on a white ceramic form (E F Johnson?) and stand vertically in the socket.

Hello Gregg, I really appreciate you letting me know the configuration of the HT-6 tank coils. Since I don't have any I was unaware of how they looked, though not positive. Now thanks to your ID I have a real good idea of what to look for.
Very best regards, Joe Cro N3IBX

Hi Folks,
I have a Hallicrafters HT-9 transmitter in good condition that might be of interest to someone who loves that cool purple glow from the mercury rectifiers. This unit is in good shape, but I haven't turned it on for over 30 years. It has 3 band coils. I've also got a Hallicrafters SR-42A transciever. Any interest in these?

Where are you located? You should put an ad in the for sale section. You need to list a location and a price.
