New member here,

I was given an NC-2-40D a few decades ago with the proviso that I attempt to restore and use it, not for resale. Marriage, kids, and now grandkids took precedence and the receiver is languishing on the shelf. I would like to pass it on gratis to someone that will attempt restoration for use/preservation rather than resale. Looking for suggestions on how to find that person/organization.

I restored/have a 240-D so don't need another one. They are nice band cruisers and are quite reliable. I you can you post a picture it might be the little boost one might need to volunteer ?

Contacting a local antique radio or ham club may be the best way to find that person to avoid advertising it on a public sales venue. You can do a Google search to find such a club near you.
