Hi everyone Working on replacing the main filter cap on a 300 I went with the re stuffing method . My question is that its a 4 section cap 100 40 40 40 . So i wired the the three sections per the manual , but i am not to sure where to put the lead of the 4th 40 uf section . Do i place it on the lug underneath that does not have a marking , or would that be incorrect ?

Yes.
Edit: Oops. The correct answer for a LOGICAL OR question is always, "Yes." The other 40 mfd connection goes to the unmarked terminal.
