Apparently untouched chassis full of nasty red Tiny Chief and bumblebee caps.

The last ham rig I owned had all ceramic caps. The only cap that had to be replaced was the e-cap can. I guess I got spoiled.

i just finished a early '62.i noted that cover over the if cans and tubes. i had read all i could find on the sx62 but never saw a set so equipped.i wonder what its purpose is although i know its shielding and how effective it is? im curious also if your output transformer is toast as my 42 and 62 were so effected by tone control leaky capacitor syndrome.
