Always nice to see a success story. When you're all done, if you'd like to post a final video, I'll be happy to take a look!

By the way, with the shields in place, your IF may be a little less prone to oscillation, so you may be able to touch up the IF trimmers a little bit more to get better sensitivity.

You might want to address lead dress for the new wiring that you installed. I see major differences in the routing and length of new wiring from before and after pics. New wiring should be the same length and routed as the original.

Thanks Tom, you were right about the tube covers, once I put these back on I was able to adjust the IF coils to peak w/o oscillation. I can pick up about 5-6 stations during the daytime now, which I guess isn't too bad for the limited antenna I have, and the age of the radio. Anyway, here's a couple of pictures of how it turned out. Thanks again for your help!!
