This is a Type A1. It fails the dim bulb test after 2-3 minutes, I have downloaded the schematic but can't see the cap values or fully understand the drawing. Looks like 7 caps but don't understand the one for b-. When the tube is removed the dim bulb looks ok. Thanks, Bill

This is a pretty standard BH circuit.

All condensers are paper, all referenced to B-.

The condensers at the plates of the BH are RF snubbers.

.o1 and 600v will be adequate.

All of the other condensers were either 1 MFD or 2 MFD.

If you can find a bunch of 2 MFD @ 450v miniature electrolytics they will do the trick.

If not, the common 10 mfd units will suffice.

You will get longer life out of he BH tube if you keep the first filter condenser down to 2 MFD, though.

Thanks, it makes a little more since. My drawing shows one long cap that seens to run pos to b-, not sure I understand part. Thanks, Bill Found this download on another sigut
