Hi Gang,
I'm attempting to reattach a copper loop antenna that runs along the inside of the Bakelite case of a Philco Hippo. The copper is coated with something plastic-y. I know there are a few options, but everything I've tried in the past (superglue, epoxy, silicone) have had various drawbacks. What have you found to be the best adhesive for gluing stuff to Bakelite? Thank you all in advance.

I used contact cement when I did my Hippo. The antenna is pretty flexible so you can do a section at a time.

Any type of TACKY glue. A flexible glue.

Thanks, guys. I got both Elmer's tacky and contact cement today and will try both and compare.

I used a hot glue gun on my hippo.

You should prepare the Bakelite surface as the Tacky-glue product describes. Maybe even rough up the surface (if inside) so the glue has a better surface to grip.
