I FINALLY got me an HVLP sprayer. It's an Earlex SprayStation 5500. I'm a little confused as to what type of lacquer I should use though. I checked to see what Sherwin Williams had in stock. They have Sher-Wood Acrylic lacquer but it's $87 per gallon! They sell it for $37 a can to contractors but that seems more like I'm being taken advantage of than a volume discount... All they have at the hardware store is Minwax "Brush on" lacquer and most of what I have found online is high gloss guitar stuff. Any advice? What do you guys use?

Okay, awesome. One more thing. Do you guys use a sealer first or do you just use these products for the whole shabang? If so, what type(s) do you like?
