Hope someone has done one of these and can give me some pointers. I use Mohawk lacquer and toners Rattle can. What would you folks use on the cabinet (rear) and the cabinet face?

You don't say if it is a complete strip: I assume that it is.

Would try stain myself as I don't get on with toner in rattle cans excepting the light colours like Golden Oak.

Here are a couple of pics of one I had which was completely original apart from restored electronics and a polish. May help with colours if it come up right on your screen.
