I have a Motorola 69L11 "suitcase" radio that is in a Tenite case. Does anyone have any Tenite Case restoration tips that I can use to restore the cabinet? Not sure how to proceed. The cabinet is starting to "fuss up" and I would like to get it back in shape.

I've never encountered a radio cabinet that was shot in Tenite... but based on working with Tenite escutcheons, knobs, and other assorted trim pieces, I'd say that trying to resurrect a large, distorted Tenite part is a lost cause. If you heat it up to the point where it becomes slightly pliable, it's just a few degrees away from suddenly dissolving into a puddle of goo. Most horrible plastic material that I've ever seen.
