I am restoring a Emerson BT 245 I have the chassis up and running.
The knobs and speaker grill looks like they went though a war.
The speaker grill is warped the finished coat is gone on the knobs and scratched up is there anyway of saving the grill and knobs.
Are there any reproduction knobs and grills made for this radio?
The cabinet is good condition I did clean it lightly what is a good way to polish the catalin?

If the tone is even on the cabinet, I would just Novus it. If you go to deep with other more abrasives you might have to do the whole thing. Looks fine to me. The darn trim is always faulting on these and the BIG/Little Miracles. It's not catalin. I'm not sure if anyone is reproing but I would check w/ Paul Pontrello to see if he is. http://www.pontrello.com/radios.html
