 Post subject: McMurdo speaker cabinet refinish

I think this is what I said it was a McMurdo, I don't remember but never the less I refinished this cabinet for one of forum members, turned out well. It had some wood work done on the lower base area as seen in picture, stripped and grain filler was applied for a smooth finish.

The open style cabinet is not McMurdo.
Rather, it is an E H Scott NAPIER, with the first version mostly "figured Circassian Walnut" laid out herringbone fashion as per an early Scott Cabinet brochure. Not sure what the lighter color chevron veneer is just above the speaker grill - maybe Satinwood or Dao. Mine holds a 1932 Scott Fifteen.
