Another Atwater Kent purchase from Auction late last year, radio does plays ok but will be looked at and I want to refinish the cabinet so lets go. I have the grill out and was thinking of maybe having some Laser cut reproductions of the grill made up to sell . Not sure if that will be done, probably not a item that's in demand. Stripped cabinet and will post more of this refinish as I get more done.

Some set that one Such a lot crammed into a small cabinet. 1933 Superhet with two IF stages, impressive.

Sure it will look great.

Not the easiest chassis to work on they crammed a lot in the subchassis to the upper left, an excellent performing radio once restored.

Finished the cabinet today and all back together, radio plays very well and not going to mess with it. Grill cloth seems to be original and in good shape, the cabinet now looks great and the wood veneers your now able to see the grain patterns before you could not, before the cabinet finish was dull and worn out. This radio cabinet looks outstanding now, just like it left the factory. Im really loving these Atwater Kent radios.
