Got this today from one of our members, he's wanting to get this nice looking 148 a refinish. Should look outstanding when completed.

I sure would like one of these, after all the work on this very nice looking Detrola it has payed off. We traded out my refinishing skills for a antique radio that needs some TLC

I guess we’re the only fans of this beauty, Fred. Thanks for a knockout job on bringing this rare Detrola back. Looking forward to seeing it and putting the music back in it!!

Nice work as always Fred. I'd like to do mine someday. Can I ask what colors you used for staining the cabinet ? Did you also use toners for trim as well ?
Tony

Thanks Tony, I stained cabinet with medium dark walnut then sprayed light golden oak toner over that. The darker trim I toned a few light coats of extra dark walnut. I use Mohawk products on everything.
