Does anyone have any data on the GR 1213-P1 Differentiator? It is an accessory supplied with the GR 1213-C Unit Time/Frequency Calibrator. It plugs in to the output binding posts and converts the square wave output into 0.15 µS pulses to be used as markers for calibrating oscilloscope time-bases.

The manual does not have any circuit details, other than the mention of the 0.15 µS pulse width. Assuming the pulse width is measured at the 50% points on the rise and fall, that implies a time constant of just a bit longer than 0.15 µS. But the impedance level used in the differentiator isn't specified. So, I've like to know the values of the resistor and capacitor in the circuit, so that I can make a reproduction.

Thanks, Steve.

The 1213 is also described in the June 1956 Experimenter. (This is the article introducing the 1213-C model.) This entry is missing from Henry P. Hall's GR Index by Type. My copy of that index is dated 03/15/03
